Noah Text® is a specialized, evidence-based method of displaying text that shows readers the structure of words, facilitating independence and enjoyment in wide reading. About Noah Text®
Noah Text® is a patent-pending methodology developed by a mom whose own child struggled with reading. Her journey started in 2003 and was heavily influenced by Dr. Miriam Cherkes-Julkowski, an expert in structured literacy and the linguistic rime from the University of Connecticut. Structured literacy specialists and adult literacy teachers have been using Noah Text® since 2016 to move their students beyond decodable texts and into wide reading. In 2019, Noah Text® entered into a partnership with New Century Education Foundation and Michigan State University, which continues to collect evidence on its efficacy. Noah Text® and New Century provide free and affordable online Noah Text® tools.
The Noah Text Bookstore was established to meet the growing demand for print books in Noah Text®. As awareness grows, Noah Text® expects to expand its title base.
